SVF concluded a training course on Increase Process of the Public Monitoring, Accountability and Transparency of the municipality Services" in collaboration with the Municipality of Maghazi, lasted for five days total of 30 hours targeted 27 participants of both gender from partner institutions and staff from the municipality of Maghazi. At the conclusion of the Training course, Mr. Mohammad Alnajar, Almaghazi mayor, indicated to the services and projects provided by the municipality to citizens. Furthermore, he also pointed out lobbying and advocacy campaigns and their importance for the community development and raising. Besides, he assisted the role of civil society to work together with municipalities to improve services and strengthen relations of cooperation between them.
On his part, Mr. Ayman Aweidah, Training Consultant in the foundation, addressed the process of communication and networking and how to conduct interviews, analyze information as well. Moreover, he tackled corruption, its causes, concepts of integrity and transparency in the community and municipal work and the means and mechanisms of social accountability and the importance of community monitoring and accountability for workers in municipalities' and municipal services providers and the role of young people in promoting the concepts of integrity and transparency.
